Life is an organization brought to realization by the dream and aspirations of two hardworking, fun loving men in their early 20's. Nicholas and Petey met in Las Vegas while working out in the apartment gym. After years of friendship, the two decided to do something that would make a bigger splash. They decided to call it Life. Nicholas drew up a logo that you see here today, and they started moving forward. That was in 2001.

Ten years later, a lot has changed. Petey and Nicholas went different directions, and after Petey spent a few years in Mexico, the two lost contact.

Today, Nicholas Mattson has created the nonprofit organization Life, named for the dream of two young and restless men. It has the same logo and ideals that were born of that friendship; heart, compassion, adventure, and brotherhood. There was an unspoken spiritual bond between the two. "I never remember talking about God, but I think we both felt the power of something greater than ourselves when we worked together on something.", remembers Nicholas. "We felt like we had it, whatever it was. He would be on the other side of the world and when we planned, it just clicked.

Most of what they did would never be recorded by history. Their efforts could not quite gel enough to set a necessary foundation. After some legal issues each of them had separately, Petey moved to Mexico, and Nicholas moved on to Mammoth Lakes, CA.

Life goes on. Such has been said. The dream lives and hopes for the salvation of its soul.

After an unsuccessful attempt to deliver services in credit and resume building in 2010, Life still has a heartbeat, and a dream. We do not know what it will be, but we do know that it will be.
